Where tent house work gets difficult
The register book at wedding-season scale
In the wedding season dozens of functions run at once. A handwritten register cannot tell you how many chairs, mattresses and pillars are free right now, or who still holds the rest.
Goods return in lots, a day or two later
After a function the chairs come back one day, the canopy the next and the pillars when the crew reaches them. Each lot should be counted in and charged for its own days.
Shortages and damage
A burnt mandap chadar, a torn curtain, a pillar that never came back. With the replacement cost on each item, a shortage becomes a charge on the bill instead of an argument.
Bills by hand take hours
Days × rate × quantity for every item, less the advance, plus GST — repeated for every customer. It is slow, and it is where mistakes creep in.

Shortage and damage charges
Mark items broken or lost at return, with replacement cost pre-filled from the item. Written-off items leave your available stock.
Carting and labour as lines
Delivery, collection, carting and labour are separate lines on the invoice.

Create the order at the customer’s place, record returns at the godown and check stock from anywhere. Nothing to install.
Overdue list
Set an expected return date and anything late appears on your dashboard with the customer’s phone number.
Worked example: 200 chairs for a wedding
A customer hires 200 khurshi (chairs) from 11 December at ₹20.00 per chair per day for a wedding, and pays ₹5,000 in advance. One hundred and fifty come back on 14 December and the last fifty on 16 December. Each lot pays for its own days, GST is added, and the advance is taken off:
